Forum “Great Rivers 2007” is dedicated to the issues of stable development of great rivers basins: providing of the economic and social growth of Russia, preservation of natural resources for the sake of the existing and future generations.

| “Stable Development of Great River Basins: International and Interregional Cooperation”. |
elaboration of legal, regulatory and economic mechanisms essential for transfer to sustainable development; creation of effective forms of management and co-ordination of regional activity in great rivers basins, international co-operation and realisation of international projects . In 2006 the Forum “Great Rivers” gathered representatives from 19 countries, 54 regions of the Russian Federation. 520 enterprises and organisations represented more than 400 reports and 395 expositions under the relevant issues of stable environmentally safe development of countries in great rivers basins.
The Forum was widely covered by more than 200 representatives of Mass Media.
